Dusting - We dust tops fronts and bases of all furniture. Including picture frames, TV screens, window sills and blinds
Woodwork & doorframes - Washing six panel doors and dusting door jambs and frames
Floor care - Vacuuming all carpeted areas including stairwells. Washing all bare floors
Frequently Asked Questions
How will our relationship work?
Home Neat Home offers convenient weekly, bi-weekly and monthly cleaning. We know we must earn your continued patronage each visit. We don't have you sign a contract we depend on communication, your special instructions and your comments on our performance. Home Neat Home wants to know if there is a better way to serve you.
Do I have to be home when the cleaners are there?
Most of our customers are not. When setting up your regular service we will discuss with you the most convenient way for us to access your home on a regular basis and securing your home as we leave.
What time will Home Neat Home arrive?
Our normal work week is Tuesday-Friday, 8am-4pm. A specific time is difficult to average we offer 1st house, 2nd house, 3rd house time slots and give an approximate time. We make every effort to meet your needs.
Do I need to provide any supplies or equipment?
Our cleaners are completely prepared with all the cleaning products, cloths and dusters to leave your home thoroughly cleaned. If there is a specific product you would like us to use; leave it out for us and we are happy to follow your instructions. We ask that our home owner provide the vacuum for the carpeted areas. We feel there is a sanitary issue bringing a vacuum from house to house.
Do I have to do anything before the cleaning?
We want to spend our time cleaning for you - if you take a few minutes the night before to prepare for us by picking up clothing, household items and toys we can get right to the cleaning.
What if I need to change a cleaning date?
Please give us a call 48 hours in advance. We are happy to make a schedule adjustment so we are there when you need us. Please allow ample time to schedule a replacement home should you need to cancel a cleaning session all together. Last minute cancellation effects staff and their income.
What if my cleaning falls on a holiday?
Home Neat Home will give you a call to reschedule your service.
What are my payment options?
A paper check on the counter is preferred but all major credit cards are accepted. Your credit card information will be gathered, kept on file and processed on the day of your service and your receipt will be emailed directly to you.
Our commitment
If there was something in your home not cleaned to your satisfaction please call us immediately so we can make it right.
What if I need to cancel a clean?
A cleaning appointment must be cancelled 48 hours in advance to give us time to adjust schedules accordingly. If we are not notified within the 48 hour window for a cancellation of services on that visit you will be charged for the full clean. Certain cases may be forgiven depending on the situation. Call if you have questions.

I started Home Neat Home housecleaning service in 1990. It started with me out cleaning a few homes a week. After a short time through kind words and referrals from customers, my little business began to grow. In 1993 I incorporated and had several employees. I still have the same hopes and dreams as I did in 1990. I strive for excellence each and every day and provide the best service I can to you.
Currently we provide weekly and biweekly cleanings to approximately 250 homes in the western suburbs of Minneapolis and appreciate your patronage and support of my small business.
